Re:Zero event openerThe entry stage of the event chain and the first place to learn the new Seal rules.
Update 1 Event · September 6, 2026
Pleiades Tower is the headline event of the Update 1 / 1.0 patch. Every run is shaped by Seals that rewrite the match rules, Blessings you buy back from Shaula's Shop, a timed parry window, and the Return by Death safety net. It is also the only place to grind Shaula and Reinhardt without spending Gems on banners.

Anime Origins Pleiades Tower is the headline event of the Update 1 patch. Anime Origins Update 1 (labelled 1.0 in-game) went live on September 6, 2026 and is the biggest content drop since the August 14 launch.
How we sourced this page. The patch date comes from the Roblox experience timestamp (updated 2026-09-06 20:12 UTC), and the four Update 1 codes were cross-checked against IGN, Nerd's Chalk and BloxInformer. Event structure, stage names and drop rates are community-reported from Update 1 coverage and gameplay — the developers have not published an official drop table, so treat every percentage as an estimate and confirm in-game.
The entry stage of the event chain and the first place to learn the new Seal rules.
Tied to the Trial of Death content and to farming the Scorpion Key needed for Reinhardt.
Features a boss encounter where surviving depends on reading attack tells and landing parries.
A harder After Dark variant of the library stage, used for deeper progression and materials.
Each stage can roll Seals — rule modifiers that change how a match plays, which is why two runs of the same stage can feel completely different. The counter is Blessings, purchased from Shaula's Shop.
Seals
Per-stage modifiers that change match rules. Read them before you place anything.
Blessings
Bought from Shaula's Shop to neutralise the Seal you are stuck on.
Shop value
The shop also sells evolution items and rerolls — coverage reports up to 50 rerolls available.
When you lose a base stock after failing part of a trial, Return by Death can trigger and send you back through the stage progression instead of ending the run outright. It is a safety net, not a free retry — every activation still costs you tempo.
Certain attacks flash a warning and require a click inside the parry window. The attack does not necessarily get faster as you climb, but the window shrinks, so precision matters more than reflex dumps. Miss it and you take damage that can cost a stock.
Grind the Pleiades Tower stages. Reported drop rates are around 2% in Act 1 and 5% in Act 2, with Act 2 also running a pity system — so push to Act 2 as early as you can. Shaula is a Heal unit, a rare dedicated support pick.
Route: clear early acts → unlock Act 2 → farm Act 2 for the 5% roll and pity.
Reinhardt is locked behind the Scorpion Key: unlock the required stage, clear the Trial of Death content, take the key, then continue through the acts to finish the unlock. Reported drop chance is about 1%, so this is the long grind of the patch.
Route: unlock stage → clear Trial of Death → Scorpion Key → continue acts → Reinhardt unlock (≈1%).
Banner vs event: Subaru, Emilia and Julius are summon banner units — check the banner rates before you spend. Shaula and Reinhardt come from event content, so they are farmable without Gems.
Anime Origins Scorpion Tokens are the new Update 1 event currency, earned from tower progression and event stages, and spent inside the event economy. The TowerFixed code grants 65 of them outright. Spend them while the event is live — event currencies stop dropping once the content rotates out.
Update 1 also adds the PLD 1 and PLD 2 artifacts to the relic pool. See the Artifacts & Relics guide for how refining works.
New Battle Pass
A fresh reward track with repeatable rewards in the later tiers.
Weekly Tournament
A recurring competitive mode that runs alongside the event.
Rifts & Artifacts replayable
Both loops can now be re-run instead of being one-time completions.
Shiny Transfer
Shiny status can be moved between units, saving re-farm time.
Party System
Group up more easily for event stages and co-op content.

Cosmetic auras for units, plus aura upgrades and adjustments.

Two artifacts added to the relic pool for the event.
New emotes & bundles
Cosmetic bundles tied to the Re:Zero content and the Aura Monster.
Four codes shipped with the patch — TowerFixed, RBD!, AuraMonster and Update1. Redeem them before you start the tower grind.
Pleiades Tower is the headline event of the Update 1 / 1.0 patch (September 6, 2026). It is a multi-stage tower run built around Seals that change match rules, Blessings you buy from Shaula's Shop to counter them, a timed parry mechanic, and the Return by Death safety net that sends you back instead of ending the run when you lose a base stock.
Shaula drops from Pleiades Tower event stages. Community-reported rates are roughly 2% in Act 1 and 5% in Act 2, with Act 2 also running a pity system, so Act 2 is the better farm once you have progressed far enough. She is a Heal unit, which makes her one of the few dedicated support options in the roster.
Reinhardt is tied to the Scorpion Key. You unlock the required event stage, clear the Trial of Death content to earn the Scorpion Key, then use it as part of the Reinhardt unlock process. The drop chance shown in community coverage is about 1%, so expect a long grind and finish your daily tower runs first.
Scorpion Tokens are the new Update 1 event currency, earned from Pleiades Tower progression and event stages. The 'TowerFixed' code also hands out 65 of them. Spend them in the event economy (Shaula's Shop and event rewards) rather than saving them, because event currencies usually stop dropping when the event rotates out.
Yes. Event stages spawn flying enemies and enemies that split across multiple paths, so bring at least one Hybrid or Hill-capable unit that can hit air. The new parry window also shrinks as you climb, so mechanics matter as much as raw DPS.
Subaru, Emilia and Julius are summon banner units, so you chase them through the normal summoning system. Reinhardt and Shaula come from Pleiades Tower event content instead, which means you can grind them without spending Gems on banners.
